What if the S.P.D. Shadow Ranger was the villain?

Anubis “Doggie” Cruger is one of the most beloved mentors in the franchise. But what if he had been corrupted by his loss on Sirius? Imagine a Shadow Ranger who didn’t want to protect Earth, but wanted to rule it with an iron fist to ensure “order” so what happened to his home would never happen again. B-Squad would find themselves fighting their own commander, a man who taught them everything and was physically superior to all of them combined.

This would turn S.P.D. into a story about revolution. The Rangers would be the “true” S.P.D., fighting a corrupt system from the inside. They would have to find a way to stop Cruger without killing him, hoping to remind him of the hero he used to be. It would be a high-stakes political thriller that questioned the nature of authority and the true meaning of the badge.
