Tanya Sloan (Yellow Zeo/Turbo Ranger): Chronologically the youngest, Tanya was a young girl living in Africa when she met Aisha Campbell. Upon returning to the present with a Zeo Subcrystal, the crystal’s power physically aged her into a teenager to match her teammates. She is a talented singer and athlete who adjusted quickly to life in Angel Grove, eventually passing her powers to Ashley Hammond after graduating high school.
Minh Kwan (Mighty Morphin Yellow Ranger III): Introduced in the 30th-anniversary special, Minh is the daughter of the original Yellow Ranger, Trini Kwan. Written as a high school student roughly 16 to 17 years old, she initially seeks revenge for her mother’s death before learning the true meaning of being a Ranger. She eventually bonds with her mother’s Sabertooth Tiger Power Coin to join the classic team.
Kimberly Hart (Pink Ranger I): As a high school freshman at the start of the series, Kimberly was approximately 14 or 15 years old. Originally portrayed as a “valley girl” with a passion for gymnastics, she grew into a courageous leader and the “heart” of the original team. She famously piloted the Pterodactyl Dinozord and used the Power Bow before leaving to compete in the Pan Global Games.
Trini Kwan (Yellow Ranger I): Like Kimberly, Trini was a high school freshman around 14 or 15 years old when recruited by Zordon. Known for her intelligence and mastery of Mantis Kung Fu, she often acted as a bridge between Billy’s technical talk and the rest of the team. She eventually left the Rangers to attend a World Peace Summit in Switzerland, passing her powers to Aisha Campbell.
Aisha Campbell (Yellow Ranger II): Aisha was a high school student from Stone Canyon, roughly 15 or 16 years old, when she helped the Rangers during a ninja competition. Her bravery and high-spirited personality earned her the Yellow Ranger mantle. She later chose to remain in Africa to help sick animals, a selfless act that led her to send Tanya Sloan back to Angel Grove in her place.
Katherine Hillard (Pink Ranger II): Joining the team as a high school student around 16 years old, “Kat” was originally under a dark spell by Rita Repulsa. Once freed, she showed immense grace and kindness, eventually becoming the Pink Ranger for the Mighty Morphin, Zeo, and Turbo teams. She is also notable for her long-standing relationship with Tommy Oliver, whom she eventually married.
Emily (Yellow Samurai Ranger): Emily is one of the youngest in her team, estimated at 17 or 18 years old. She only became a Ranger because her older sister, Serena, fell ill, leaving Emily to take her place. Despite her initial insecurity, her sweet nature and hidden inner strength made her a vital part of the Samurai team, where she mastered the Earth Smasher.
Izzy Garcia (Green Dino Fury Ranger): Portrayed as a competitive high school athlete roughly 17 or 18 years old, Izzy made history as the franchise’s first female Green Ranger in a core team. She is known for her no-nonsense attitude and athleticism, famously ripping the skirt off her uniform because it hindered her movement. She eventually helps lead the team into their Cosmic Fury evolution.
Kira Ford (Yellow Dino Ranger): A high school senior around 17 or 18 years old, Kira is a talented musician who initially preferred her guitar to fighting monsters. As the Yellow Dino Ranger, she wielded the Ptera Screech, a sonic scream power that mirrored her vocal talents. Her growth from a cynical loner to a dedicated hero is a central arc of the Dino Thunder season.
Madison Rocca (Blue Mystic Ranger): One of the younger members of the Mystic Force team, Madison is often seen as the shy, “behind-the-camera” sister who prefers filming life to being in the spotlight. Written as a late teenager or young adult around 18 or 19, her kindness and empathy allow her to tap into the power of water, eventually summoning the Mermaid Mystic Sprite.
Tori Hanson (Blue Wind Ranger): Tori’s 18th birthday occurred during her season, placing her at 17 or 18 years old when she began her training at the Wind Ninja Academy. As the first female Blue Ranger, she is a skilled surfer with a deep connection to water-based ninjutsu. She is often the most logical and level-headed member of the Ninja Storm team.
Shelby Watkins (Pink Dino Charge Ranger): An 18-year-old waitress with a passion for paleontology, Shelby often knew more about dinosaurs than the team’s mentor, Kendall Morgan. Her determination to prove herself led her to bond with the Triceratops Energem. She is fiercely independent and was instrumental in developing many of the team’s Dino Chargers.
Emma Goodall (Pink Megaforce Ranger): A student at Harwood County High, Emma is roughly 17 or 18 years old and has a deep love for nature and photography. As the Pink Megaforce Ranger, she uses the power of the Phoenix and is often the most compassionate member of the team, frequently trying to find peaceful solutions before resorting to battle.
Gia Moran (Yellow Megaforce Ranger): Also a high school student around 17 or 18, Gia is Emma’s best friend and a natural leader. Known for being “the toughest girl at school,” she is highly confident, skilled in martial arts, and rarely loses her cool in a fight. Her stoic but loyal personality made her a fan favorite throughout the Megaforce and Super Megaforce eras.
Sarah Thompson (Pink Ninja Steel Ranger): A brilliant young engineer in high school, Sarah is roughly 17 or 18 years old. She is famous for her inventions, including her own hoverboard, which she uses in both civilian and Ranger forms. Her technical expertise is vital to the Ninja Steel team, as she often helps create or repair their arsenal.
Hayley Foster (White Ninja Steel Ranger): Another high school student around 17 or 18, Hayley is an adventurous animal lover who is rarely seen without her dog, Kodiak. As the White Ninja Steel Ranger, she pilots the Kodiak Robo Zord. She is also notable for her grounded relationship with her teammate and boyfriend, Calvin, the Yellow Ranger.
