What if the Samurai Rangers used the Black Box early?

The Black Box was a massive power-up that took half the season to unlock. If they had it from episode one, the “Nighlok” threat would have been trivialized. Master Xandred would have been forced to enter the human world much sooner, leading to an apocalyptic final battle in the first few episodes. The season would have become a “survival” story where the Rangers were constantly outmatched by a god-level threat that they weren’t emotionally ready to face.

This would have forced Jayden to reveal his secret (that he wasn’t the true Red Ranger) much earlier, as the pressure of the war would have broken him. The team would have been fractured and demoralized, forced to find a new way to fight without their “invincible” power-ups, leading to a much more grounded and gritty version of the Samurai story.
