What if Zen-Aku remained the Silver Ranger permanently?

In Wild Force, Merrick was eventually freed from the curse of the Wolf Mask. But what if the mask couldn’t be removed, and Merrick had to fight for good while still possessing the dark, aggressive instincts of Zen-Aku? The team would have had a “Hulk-like” figure—a hero who was terrifyingly powerful but constantly on the verge of losing control. The other Rangers would have spent as much time keeping Merrick calm as they did fighting Orgs.

This would have made Wild Force a much darker, more psychological season. The Animarium would have felt less like a sanctuary and more like a cage for a dangerous beast. The finale against Master Org would have been a test of Merrick’s soul; he would have had to fully embrace the “monster” within to save the world, potentially sacrificing his humanity forever to ensure the Orgs were wiped out.
