What if the “Wild Force” Zords were actually biological creatures that could die?

In the show, Zords are mostly mechanical. If they were 100% biological animals, the stakes of every battle would be life or death—not just for the city, but for the Rangers’ “pets.” The loss of a Zord would be a tragedy that lasted the whole season, making the Rangers much more protective and cautious in battle.
