Following the shock of learning his parentage, Baku must regain his bearings to face the Zeztz Darkness Nightmare, which is rapidly gaining power. Inside the “Zeztz Room,” Zero admits to using Baku’s Rider self to achieve his own goals before waking up, leaving Baku behind. In the dream world, Baku and Nem reunite and discuss their pasts; Nem realizes her mother was only trying to protect her, while Baku struggles with the fact that his father has essentially discarded his identity for his “mission”. Simultaneously, the character Three moves to overthrow Zero and seize control of CODE.
