Divatox’s shift to a rebel leader involves her providing the Rangers with “pirated” upgrades to bypass the AI’s locks. The season concludes with the Turbo Zords choosing to sacrifice their sentience to form an indestructible barrier around Earth, leaving the Rangers with the non-sentient shells that eventually become the foundation for the Space Megazord.
