VR Troopers: The Virtual Arsenal
The VR Troopers’ gear was divided based on the source footage: Ryan Steele used Metalder tech, while J.B. and Kaitlin used Spielban tech.
The VR Battlecruiser
The team’s primary heavy transport and mobile command center. It served as a massive tank-like vehicle that could traverse difficult terrain and deploy the smaller tactical units. Its “Virtual Laser” cannons were the primary deterrent against Grim Lord’s ground battalions.
The VR Skybase
J.B. and Kaitlin’s massive flying fortress. This aerial carrier could transform into a giant robotic mode (though rarely used in the US) and served as the launching platform for the VR Interceptor. It was the ultimate “eye in the sky” for the Professor’s tactical monitoring.
The VR Pursuit Cycle
Ryan Steele’s primary ground vehicle. Unlike a standard motorcycle, the Pursuit Cycle was heavily armored and equipped with side-mounted laser blasters. It could travel at superhuman speeds, allowing Ryan to intercept Skugs before they could dematerialize.
The VR Interceptor
A high-speed jet piloted by J.B. Reese. It was designed for dogfights against Grim Lord’s Air-Bots. The Interceptor featured “Virtual Missiles” and was often the decisive factor in reclaiming the “Virtual Skies” during large-scale invasions.
The VR Nitrocycle
J.B.’s personal motorcycle, which matched his blue armor. It was faster than the Pursuit Cycle and often used for high-speed chases through the “V-World” canyons.
VR Kaitlin’s Skycycle
A specialized aerial scooter/motorcycle used by Kaitlin. Because she often lacked a heavy fighter jet, the Skycycle gave her the mobility needed to provide air cover for Ryan and J.B. during ground skirmishes.
The VR Laser Lance
J.B.’s signature weapon. A dual-ended energy staff that could be used for melee combat or to fire “Laser Piston” blasts. It was the most versatile weapon on the team, capable of taking down armored mutants at both close and long range.
Ryan Steele’s VR Laser Command Pistol
Ryan’s primary sidearm. While Ryan primarily fought with martial arts and the “Internal Energy” strike, the Command Pistol provided a high-intensity burst of virtual energy that could shatter the armor of Grim Lord’s elite guard.
